The Elizade University Cooperative Society has elected a new set of officers to run the affairs of the society for a new term.
The election conducted by an electoral committee that comprises Dr. Emmanuel Faleye, Chairman, Mrs Blessing Ezeagbor, Secretary, Mr.Tosin Adesile, PRO, Mr. Samuel Idowu, and Mr. Olusola Ogunsakin was adjudged to be free, fair, and credible.
The newly elected executive tenure commences in the first quarter of 2024.
The executive includes Dr. Sunday Ogbeide as President, Mrs Olushina Funmilayo as Vice-president, Miss Jaiyeoba Abidemi as General Secretary, Mr. Olamigoke Babalola as treasurer Mr. Samuel Ujah- Financial Secretary, Mr. Adeyinka Fadahunsi as Ex-Officio.
Congratulating the members of the society, the electoral committee chairman, Dr. Emmanuel Faleye, congratulated all the contestants in the election.
Faleye enjoined those who won the election and other contestants to join hands together to develop the association with a common goal.
Responding, the new president-elect, Dr Sunday Ogbeide appreciated the electoral committee for conducting a free and fair election.
Ogbeide expressed his appreciation to the University community for coming out en-mass to vote for all the winners.
