….as 605 undergraduate, 62 postgraduate matriculates

Professor Kayode Ijadunola, Vice chancellor, Elizade University has said that not all matriculating students end up graduating from the same institution for a myriad of reasons.
He disclosed this at the 12th Matriculating ceremony held at Elizade University where six hundred and five undergraduate and sixty two postgraduate students admitted oath of matriculation.
Speaking during the matriculation, the Vice Chancellor warned the new students against engaging in any form of anti-social behaviours adding that the university has zero tolerance for cultism, illicit drug use, examination misconduct and indecessent dressing.
He added engaging in criminal act will not only bring you in contact with justice system but may also cut short your dreams and aspirations in life.
“Social media and the desire to get rich quick while in school may be conflicts of internet with regard to your career progress. You may end up loosing on both ends.
“Respect other members of the University community as respect is mutual and reciprocal. Do not feel entitled when interacting with your instructors, as is common today among young people.
The VC said all the courses being offered in the university are fully accredited by the national University commission (NUC) and the regulatory agencies.
